Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service Director, where your leadership will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and customer satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the service department, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality repairs, and outstanding service experiences. Please call or text Dianaa DAvanzo 978-257-6292 Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire service department, setting high standards for quality, efficiency, and customer service. Oversee daily operations including vehicle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance scheduling, and parts inventory management. Supervise and motivate a team of service technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and technical standards. Develop and implement strategies to increase upselling opportunities and maximize revenue through effective auto estimating and service writing. Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing transparent communication, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction. Monitor department performance metrics; analyze data to improve workflow, productivity, and profitability. Stay current with automotive industry trends and technical advancements such as transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, alignments, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, oil changes, auto body repairs, and other specialized services. Experience Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management. Extensive mechanic experience with expertise in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures across various systems including transmissions, diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and alignments. Demonstrated success in upselling services and parts to enhance revenue while maintaining customer trust. Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes to accurately document repairs and communicate costs effectively. Strong understanding of automotive repair standards and safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional experiences. Experience handling cash transactions confidently while maintaining accuracy in financial procedures.
