Job Description:

Directs groundskeeping crew to assure all grounds and outside surface areas are properly groomed and maintainedCreates, plans and implements landscaping designs as per seasonal appropriatenessAssists with design and performs installation of new hardscape, softscape and other projects as requestedConducts scheduled rounds of facility grounds and property to assess preventive maintenance needs, aesthetics, and potential for compromised safetyPerforms groundskeeping duties and personal gardening services as requested and as necessary, including maintenance and improvement of recreational facilities throughout the campusSupervises snow and ice removal including allocating necessary manpower hours to assure safe passageways as well as maintaining sufficient inventory of snow removal supplies on siteOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma required Associates Degree in Landscape Management preferredEducation in horticulture required Experience in installation of hardscape, softscape and design Experience in maintenance and repairs of grounds equipment and facility vehiclesSupervisory experienceNJ Commercial Pesticide Applicator license required or must be obtained within 6 monthsExperience in commercial landscape management, equipment operation and snow removal operationsFull Time - Hours M-F 7am-3:30pm and on-call for snow removal
