Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, including hydraulic repairs, fabrication, and maintenance tasks for heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial systems Lead a team of technicians by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship Review technical schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and hydraulic system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to perform repairs such as brake repair, transmissions servicing, suspension work, and welding Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation (excavator, forklift, crane), electrical work, HVAC systems, and air brake systems Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inventory management for parts used in hydraulic systems and heavy machinery Collaborate with customers to explain repair procedures, provide estimates, and ensure their needs are met with professionalism Qualifications Proven experience working in a dealership or heavy equipment service environment with a strong background in hydraulics and mechanical repairs Extensive knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding and soldering Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other heavy machinery Familiarity with OEM specifications, schematics interpretation, electrical diagnostics, diesel engine repair, HVAC systems, tire service, and vehicle maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and diagnostic tools Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex hydraulic or mechanical issues Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation (such as crane or forklift certification), automotive diagnostics or repair are preferred but not mandatory Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering top-tier hydraulic solutions!
