Maintenance Supervisor Maintenance Supervisor - Food / Bev Manufacturing Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for our manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure reliable operation of production equipment and building systems by managing a team of technicians, developing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and overseeing PLC-related tasks. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders and projects Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems to quickly restore production and reduce downtime Oversee repair, installation, and commissioning of equipment, including conveyors, motors, drives, and control panels Coordinate with production, engineering, and external contractors to plan shutdowns, upgrades, and capital projects Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and equipment documentation Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies Analyze equipment performance and maintenance data to identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions Manage maintenance budget and procurement of parts and services as needed Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Food / Bev preferred Experience with PLCs (programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning) and industrial control systems Proven ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Demonstrated leadership and team development skills, with effective communication and problem-solving abilities For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
