BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The position works directly under the Facilities Director and Manager to perform all tasks related to maintenance, grounds keeping, janitorial and preventive maintenance services to county building and grounds. Employee will assist at the need of the Facility Director and Manager in managing maintenance, grounds keeping, and janitorial services to ensure a positive experience for both employees and the public. The employee's corrective abilities will be limited to coaching and mentoring. This position is considered a working lead and performs a wide variety of skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of commercial buildings including construction, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities include a wide range of maintenance and custodial duties to be performed on various buildings, grounds, and related installation owned or under control, care, and custody of the county.
