Job DescriptionJob Description Maintenance Manager - Combined Cycle Power Plant Hobbs, NM $160,000 - $190,000 per year, bonus, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, paid maternity/paternity, 401k 6% match A Maintenance Manager is required to lead maintenance activity at a combined-cycle power generation facility in Hobbs, New Mexico. This role offers a salary of $160,000 - $190,000 plus bonus, with responsibility for plant reliability, outage planning, maintenance programs, safety and team performance. The Maintenance Manager will take ownership of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance across gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, generators, balance-of-plant equipment, switchyard systems and DCS controls. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical maintenance expertise with planning, budgeting, contractor management and team development.

The Maintenance Manager Role:

Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs across major plant equipment and associated systemsBuild long-range maintenance plans aligned with inspection, overhaul and outage requirementsOwn CMMS standards, including equipment hierarchy, work-order quality, PM compliance, spare-parts data and maintenance historyDevelop and manage annual maintenance O&M and minor-capital budgetsPlan and execute scheduled outages and major inspections, coordinating contractors, OEM support and internal teamsLead root-cause analysis on equipment failures, forced outages and recurring reliability issuesSupport safe maintenance execution across LOTO, confined space, hot work, fall protection, electrical safety and wider OSHA requirementsLead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team across mechanical, electrical, I&C, planning and supervisory functions

Maintenance Manager Requirements:

Experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a senior maintenance leadership role within power generation, heavy industrial or process environmentsStrong maintenance experience within combined-cycle, simple-cycle gas turbine or large thermal power plant environmentsExperience with gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, generators and balance-of-plant rotating equipmentProven experience planning and executing major gas-turbine outages, inspections or steam-turbine overhaulsExperience managing CMMS platforms such as Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM or similarStrong understanding of plant safety, environmental and regulatory compliance requirementsPrevious leadership experience managing technicians, planners, supervisors or multidisciplinary maintenance teamsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred; equivalent military or technical experience considered
