Full Job Description Job Summary:
The 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance operations in our facility. This is a "working" position. This includes conducting regular inspections, coordinating repairs and maintenance activities, and ensuring the overall efficiency and functionality of equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent technical skills, and a solid understanding of maintenance best practices.

Essential Job Functions:
The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment and facilities. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage. Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects, minimizing disruptions to operations. Monitor and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, creating a safe and productive work environment. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment records, and inventory reports. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Equivalent; additional certification or training in maintenance or a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices, including preventive maintenance programs Excellent technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce them effectively. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and mentor a team of maintenance technicians. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Proficient computer skills, including experience with maintenance management software and MS Office. #PLI1
