Facility Maintenance Manager

Job Overview The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of all facility systems and equipment. This role involves performing all building repairs, report all work orders and collaborate with vendors to ensure all repairs are done effectively. Maintenance tech will partner with managers and janitors to execute repairs to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with experience in HVAC/R systems, electrical work, and familiarity with instruments such as ballasts and drills and ladders. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards. Perform maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including low voltage systems. Troubleshoot and repair all plumbing issues (sinks, toilets, showers) All carpentry, paint and wall repairs. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to ensure all PO's are submitted, checked in and out. Ordering inventory as needed using procurement. Collaborate with operations managers to provide insights on facility needs and improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or in a similar role. Proficiency in HVAC/R systems and industrial electrical work. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their applications in maintenance tasks. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Certification or training in HVAC or electrical fields is preferred but not mandatory. Certified to operate a lift (boom and scissor lift) This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
