Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities at our hotel located in Jamaica, New York. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. The Maintenance Lead will implement preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and manage maintenance projects to optimize hotel performance. Duties Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, low voltage, high voltage, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment by interpreting schematics and technical diagrams Manage maintenance projects Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical faults and mechanical issues efficiently Oversee the management of facilities including HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and general building maintenance Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and asset management using CMMS software Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in industrial maintenance practices Hands-on experience Familiarity with facilities management including HVAC systems and electrical infrastructure Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and understanding electrical circuits Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English with strong communication skills for team coordination and reporting purposes Demonstrated supervisory experience with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward operational excellence Join us as we drive innovation through efficient maintenance practices!
