This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, managing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating repairs, and overseeing parts inventory.
Please Note:
This position is currently based in Jamesville, NY. The company plans to relocate operations to Blossvale, NY within approximately 20 months , making this an excellent long-term opportunity with a growing organization. Responsibilities Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Coordinate maintenance activities with production, vendors, and contractors Manage parts, tools, and maintenance inventory Maintain maintenance records and equipment documentation Minimize downtime and support efficient plant operations Qualifications 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environments Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience in lumber, sawmill, pallet, or wood products manufacturing Supervisory or leadership experience Forklift and mobile equipment experience Familiarity with OSHA safety standards This position requires working in an active manufacturing environment and performing physical maintenance tasks as needed.
