• Full-time Position Summary Meyers Landscape & Nursery is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Landscape Maintenance Manager to help lead our commercial landscape maintenance operations.

This position is ideal for an experienced landscape professional who enjoys working both in the field and in a leadership role. The Assistant Manager will help oversee mowing crews, maintain quality standards, inspect properties, coordinate equipment maintenance, complete daily paperwork, and assist with shop operations. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, capable of leading by example, and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily landscape maintenance operations Supervise and support mowing and maintenance crews Ensure proper mowing, trimming, stick edging, and property appearance standards are met Conduct routine property inspections and quality control checks Train crew members on company procedures and safety standards Coordinate and assist with equipment maintenance and repairs Maintain shop organization and inventory Complete daily reports, job documentation, and production paperwork Communicate with management regarding crew performance, equipment needs, and property concerns Assist with scheduling and route efficiency when needed Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally

QualificationsRequired:

Minimum 3 years of landscape maintenance experience Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to operate commercial mowing and landscape equipment Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical labor

Preferred:
