Job Summary This position is for a nuclear station leader who is responsible for the maintenance department, primarily associated with activities in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls systems. Vistra nuclear sites include Comanche Peak (Glen Rose, TX); Beaver Valley (Shippingport, PA), Davis-Besse (Oak Harbor, OH) & Perry (Perry, OH). •Location will be based at one of Vistra's four nuclear sites• Job Description Key Accountabilities Provide technical and administrative direction in all aspects of maintenance, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines. Accountable for the activities associated with the Maintenance Support Manager, Maintenance Services Manager, and Maintenance Training Coordinator. Ensure all Maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with approved procedures, instructions, regulatory requirements, and applicable policies and directives. Development and monitoring of Maintenance Department budgets. Maintain the preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure Maintenance personnel are trained and supervised. Directing contractors on matters relating to plant maintenance Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Eight years related experience in the nuclear industry or equivalence. Four years of experience at an operational nuclear power plant. During the four years, the individual shall have help positions in maintenance at the supervisory or management level.
