Maintenance Sales Manager Toledo Jet Toledo Express Airport (KTOL) - Swanton, OH Full-Time | Leadership Role | Competitive Base Salary + Commission & Incentive Opportunities Drive Growth. Toledo Jet is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Maintenance Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and expand our aircraft maintenance, avionics, inspection, and AOG service offerings. This position is responsible for developing new customer relationships, growing existing accounts, increasing maintenance sales revenue, and serving as a trusted advisor to aircraft owners, operators, management companies, and flight departments. The ideal candidate is a motivated aviation professional with a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, exceptional customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to generate and close business opportunities. Position Summary The Maintenance Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing maintenance and avionics service proposals, managing key customer accounts, and supporting overall revenue growth objectives. This role works closely with maintenance leadership, avionics teams, quoting specialists, and executive management to ensure customer needs are met while maximizing operational profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase maintenance and avionics revenue. Identify and pursue new customer opportunities throughout the business aviation market. Build relationships with aircraft owners, operators, charter companies, management companies, brokers, and flight departments. Promote Toledo Jet's maintenance, avionics, inspection, troubleshooting, and AOG capabilities. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand Toledo Jet's market presence. Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts. Develop long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Conduct customer visits and facility tours. Identify customer needs and recommend maintenance, inspection, and avionics solutions. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire service process. Quoting & Proposal Development Collaborate with maintenance and avionics teams to develop accurate service proposals and quotations. Review maintenance requirements and customer requests to define project scope. Present estimates, explain work scopes, and negotiate service agreements. Follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities to maximize conversion rates. Monitor quote performance and customer feedback. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion Achieve established sales and revenue targets. Develop strategies to increase repeat business and customer retention. Identify emerging market trends and customer needs. Support the launch of new service offerings and business initiatives. Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth plans. Reporting & Performance Management Maintain accurate sales activity records and CRM documentation. Track pipeline activity, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics. Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports. Analyze market trends and competitor activity. Provide recommendations for business improvement and growth opportunities. QualificationsRequired Minimum 5 years of aviation sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship experience. Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, inspections, avionics, or aviation support services. Proven track record of generating revenue and developing customer relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to travel as needed for customer visits and industry events. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Experience selling aircraft maintenance, avionics, MRO, repair station, or aviation services. Existing relationships within the business aviation industry. Experience supporting Part 91, Part 135, and corporate flight department customers. Knowledge of Citation, Hawker, Learjet, King Air, Falcon, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Embraer aircraft platforms. Previous experience working in or supporting a Part 145 Repair Station.
