$28.10 to $31.03 /Hr.
Full or Part Time:
Full-time only Reports to: Maintenance Manager and/or delegated authority Basic Qualifications Highschool Diploma, equivalent. Associate's degree or Technical Certification in fields such as engineering, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, or facilities management. Experience in maintenance planning or related role Proficiency with computer systems, including email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and maintenance management software (e.g., Fiix, Oracle). Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
JOB SUMMARY
Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in optimizing maintenance resources and ensuring efficient scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance activities. This role supports plant goals by improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and maintaining high safety and performance standards. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for: Reviewing and understanding equipment and machinery manuals to determine the standard operating procedures. Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance planning. Coordinating with maintenance technicians to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks. Estimating the time and resources needed for each maintenance job. Tracking the inventory of spare parts and ensuring their availability for routine and emergency maintenance. Inspecting the workplace for potential safety hazards and implementing safety protocols. Utilizing maintenance management software to record, track and analyze maintenance work. Preparing and presenting reports on maintenance activities and their effectiveness. Collaborating with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and parts. Training maintenance staff in new procedures and protocols.

Must be flexible with job duties. You may be required to fill in on other jobs or in other departments when the business or organization is short-handed. Other duties as assigned.
SAFETY A
Maintenance position is a safety-sensitive position due to routine proximity to moving and automatic equipment as well as mobile equipment. Operate in a safe manner, following all plant and departmental safety rules and procedures at all times.
OPERATIONS
Ability and desire to learn and practice good housekeeping principles. Ability and desire to work in a safe manner in all conditions and circumstances. Ability and desire to learn and practice all Plant Safety and Compliance Programs. Follow all production and maintenance shop area safe operating procedures. Safely store tools and equipment. Know how to safely start, stop, and test all equipment in the area. Understand and follow all safe operating procedures for mobile equipment. Be willing to learn and grow.
