Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Vendor (Maintenance) to join our dynamic facilities management team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of our diverse facility systems and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems function seamlessly, supporting a safe and efficient environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on maintenance work, leadership in facilities operations, and delivering exceptional service to internal teams and external vendors alike. Responsibilities Coordinate with supervise and focus on maintenance activities across various systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC to ensure optimal performance. Repairs if needed. Perform Work Order assigned. Prep & Paint, Touch Up Paint Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues promptly. Conduct repairs on electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC units, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment following safety standards and technical specifications. Lead maintenance projects such as welding repairs, residential painting tasks, or facility upgrades while supervising team members or external contractors as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory levels. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance procedures. Provide excellent customer service by responding swiftly to maintenance requests from internal departments or external clients, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and residential painting is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to handle diverse maintenance challenges efficiently. Ability to perform plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks confidently.
