Job Description
About the Role As a Plant Maintenance Lead, you will spearhead the reliability and operational efficiency of our production facility. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, oversee infrastructure integrity, and foster a culture of safety and technical excellence to ensure seamless manufacturing performance. Responsibilities Direct and mentor the maintenance team to maximize equipment uptime and operational throughput. Develop and execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime. Manage facility infrastructure, including utilities and refrigeration systems, ensuring peak performance. Oversee capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades from planning through implementation. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and food quality regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and SQF. Optimize maintenance budgets and manage spare parts inventory to balance cost-efficiency with operational readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement process modifications. Qualifications Required Skills Technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance leadership. Proven track record in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office suite. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards including FSMA, SQF, and OSHA. Demonstrated ability to lead change and solve complex technical problems. Preferred Skills Expertise in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Hands-on experience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) diagnostic tools. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Advanced experience in budgeting and financial forecasting for maintenance operations.
