Job Description

Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our facilities running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of equipment, systems, and infrastructure across our manufacturing or facilities environment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help prevent downtime, improve safety standards, and maintain a high-quality working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced, energetic setting dedicated to excellence. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly. Conduct repairs including welding, electrical wiring, and plumbing to restore equipment functionality. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system adjustments. Lead maintenance projects with supervision of team members or contractors, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with residential painting and facilities upkeep to uphold the safety and aesthetic standards of the environment. Read schematics and technical manuals to interpret system layouts and repair procedures effectively. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support. Supervise junior staff or contractors during maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Skilled in welding, electrical work, and troubleshooting complex systems using schematics and Ohmmeters. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting is highly desirable. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings accurately. Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Experience with CMMS software for work order management is advantageous. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
