Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Maintenance Lead and help keep our apartment community running safely, efficiently, and in great condition for residents. In this hands-on role, you'll handle day-to-day maintenance across the property and work alongside the management team to keep the maintenance crew organized and on track. Your technical skills and steady leadership will support a proactive maintenance culture and high standards of property care. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and helping a team succeed. Duties Complete and prioritize work orders for repairs and preventative maintenance in a timely manner Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and appliances Help coordinate and direct the maintenance team's daily tasks and workload Walk the property regularly to identify repair needs, safety hazards, and unit turn priorities Maintain make-ready units to rent-ready standards Track parts and supplies and keep inventory stocked Follow safety protocols and ensure work meets quality and code standards Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation Experience Hands-on experience in apartment or facilities maintenance, with strong skills in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs Some lead or supervisory experience, or readiness to help guide and motivate a small team EPA Section 608 certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to diagnose and fix problems independently and follow through to completion Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Good communication skills to coordinate with the management team, vendors, and residents HVAC certification or trade experience a plus If you take pride in your work, enjoy keeping a property in top shape, and want to grow into a leadership role on a maintenance team, we'd like to hear from you.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
