Full Job Description A landscape maintenance company in Central Oregon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to lead a landscape maintenance crew and support daily field operations. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and is comfortable leading a crew in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has strong landscape maintenance experience, solid leadership skills, and the ability to keep jobs moving efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Position Overview The Maintenance Foreman is responsible for leading a crew in daily landscape maintenance operations. This includes overseeing mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, cleanups, irrigation checks, equipment use, safety practices, and overall jobsite quality. This role works closely with management and other team members to ensure properties are completed on schedule, client expectations are met, and crew members are trained and supported in the field. Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew on assigned properties. Ensure daily work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, cleanup, and general landscape maintenance tasks. Monitor jobsite quality and make corrections as needed. Communicate clearly with management regarding job progress, property concerns, equipment needs, and crew performance. Train and support crew members in proper maintenance techniques, equipment use, and safety expectations. Help maintain a productive, professional, and respectful crew environment. Operate and care for company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment. Identify basic irrigation issues, plant health concerns, hazards, and property needs. Complete required paperwork, time tracking, or daily reporting accurately and on time. Follow all safety policies and ensure crew members are doing the same. Represent the company professionally while working on client properties. Qualifications Previous landscape maintenance experience required. Prior crew lead or foreman experience preferred. Strong understanding of mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, cleanups, and general landscape maintenance practices. Ability to lead, train, and motivate a crew. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, mowers, handheld equipment, and other landscape tools. Valid driver's license and the ability to be approved by our insurance are required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
Pay:
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour
