Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead facility operations, maintenance teams, and equipment reliability initiatives within a production/manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, supervising technicians and team leads, managing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating vendors, and supporting overall facility and production uptime. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience supervising maintenance or production crews, hands-on manufacturing/facility experience, knowledge of preventative maintenance and machinery repair, experience managing budgets and financials, and familiarity with ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the Facilities and Maintenance department Supervise maintenance technicians and team leads while coaching, mentoring, and developing employees Oversee installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of machinery, production equipment, rolling stock, mechanical systems, infrastructure, and facility systems Maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related facility systems Support production teams with equipment setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability Coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and services with outside vendors and contractors Manage maintenance inventory, parts, materials, and equipment purchasing Collaborate with operations and finance teams to develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasting Monitor facility utilization, staffing, labor, and equipment allocation across projects and operations Oversee maintenance and repair of tractors, forklifts, and other motor-driven equipment Assist with facility expansion projects, construction coordination, and equipment sourcing Ensure all equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards Maintain inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records
Qualifications:
5+ years of facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or production environment experience 2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading maintenance or production teams Strong hands-on experience with machinery, preventative maintenance, mechanical systems, and facility operations Experience managing budgets, expenses, and operational financials ERP system experience preferred Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
$80,000-$90,000 base salary 20% sign-on bonus Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, company-paid life insurance, disability coverage, and 401(k)
Additional Information:
Position is based in the greater Eugene area. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of background checks, drug screening, and reference verification.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
