Robot Repair Manager About Daxbot Daxbot deploys autonomous robots that perform real-world missions for customers — from security patrols to infrastructure and ADA data collection. $60,000 - $75,000/year

Role Summary:

Mission :

Oversees repair department and its processes while ensuring performance, volume, quality, and budget goals are met. The Robot Repair Manager role is responsible for making sure our robots stay fixed. Without this role, we have no product. Day-to-day, you'll manage a team of technicians working local sites and out-of-state deployments. To be successful, you must be able to stick to our processes even when it feels like it's slowing you down. Additionally, you have to keep a calm demeanor and prioritize effectively even when many problems conflict.

Major Responsibilities and Duties :

Manage the day-to-day operations for repair department including troubleshooting and repairs Travel approximately 10% of the time Manage a field repair strategy to support Daxbot's robot fleet Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to avoid service impacting failures Manage subordinate staff's day to day performance Hold direct reports accountable to daily process and performance standards Ensure the team's daily status reporting is accurate and submitted on time Manage and maintain appropriate staffing levels Maintain a safety-first culture by only using safe work practices

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience Demonstrated Leadership and/or Management Experience Comfortable delivering direct feedback and holding firm on decisions under pressure Robotics experience (preferred) Strong attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills
