Salary Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning work, training, coaching, and performance management. Maintain, service, and repair specialized ovens, mixing machinery, conveyors, product handling systems, and other equipment used in baked goods production. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, OSHA standards, and company guidelines. Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records. Assist production teams on the floor to minimize downtime or provide coaching/training when needed. Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and team members. Work safely around equipment and products emitting heat (approximately 400°F) and in environments with moving machinery, chemicals, dust, noise, humidity, and outdoor conditions. Available for "on-call" duties
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician; supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing plant equipment. Competent welding skills and basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics. Proficiency with basic office computer software (Word, Excel, email). Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights up to 50 feet. Available to work all shifts and weekends. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to learning and following safety, food safety, and departmental procedures.
