Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced hands on Maintenance Supervisor to handle all maintenance aspects of our garden-style apartment community in Broomall, PA. Candidates should possess strong maintenance skills and the ability to effectively manage a maintenance team.

Type:

Full Time Role & Responsibilities Hire, supervise, mentor and coach service technicians. Ensure timely and satisfactory completion of all service requests. Oversee turnover process of vacant apartment homes from scheduling through final inspection. Monitor maintenance and repair budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings. Participate in developing the budget during the annual budgeting process. Execute preventative maintenance program. Source and communicate with vendors and request bids as needed. Recommend necessary capital improvements for asset preservation and safety Regularly inspect grounds, amenities, and common areas to maintain a high level of curb appeal. Oversee snow removal efforts Establish and prepare a 24 hour on-call schedule for your team and ensure that on-call and overtime protocols are properly followed Ensure all tasks are completed safely and there are no hazards throughout the property. Qualifications Needed 3-5 years maintenance experience with minimum 1-year supervisory experience Solid hands-on skills and knowledge of all aspects of maintenance including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, construction, and carpentry Ability to lead and develop technicians of various levels of skill and experienceBe available at all times in the event of snow and ice or other on-site emergencies. Good communication skills Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Hand Tools required
