Job Description Location:
Coatesville, PA Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Shift Manager Maintenance (Electrical). The Shift Manager plays a critical role coordinating daily activities in the operation on site, supervising hourly crews, and improving overall efficiency by proper utilization of the resources and all of its components. They will ensure the reliability of the mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance and directing maintenance personnel as needed in response to breakdowns. Summary of Responsibilities Schedules routine activities. Supervises completion of work assignments and follows established department plans Maintains general discipline of the crew in meeting the daily production, safety and quality objectives. Instructs personnel in job requirements, company rules and practices Coordinates production and maintenance activities with different departments, assists in developing continuous improvement plans Monitors site's operation, adheres to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity performance standards and performs regular audits Leads employees' training and performance review programs. Improves overall production, processes and services efficiency Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma Supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Steel manufacturing experience Electrical/Electronic background Cleveland-Cliffs is a leading North America-based steel producer with focus on value-added sheet products, particularly for the automotive industry.
