Join our 376-unit Preserve at Milltown apartment community in Downingtown, PA as an Assistant Service Manager and take an active role in keeping our community running at its best. Working alongside an experienced Service Manager, you'll help lead daily maintenance operations, support and mentor the maintenance team, and tackle the more complex service challenges that come with a busy multifamily community. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, well-rounded maintenance experience, and previous multifamily leadership experience who is ready to continue growing their career. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will: Assist the Service Manager with the day-to-day maintenance operations of a 376-unit apartment community Help coordinate daily work orders, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance, and team priorities Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs involving HVAC systems, appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and general building maintenance Lead by example while supporting, mentoring, and providing day-to-day guidance to Maintenance Technicians Help prioritize workload and keep maintenance projects moving efficiently and on schedule Assist with maintaining community grounds and ensuring the overall appearance of the property meets company standards Help manage maintenance inventory, tools, equipment, and supplies Conduct inspections of vacant apartments, common areas, and building exteriors to ensure quality standards are consistently met Support snow removal and emergency maintenance as needed Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule every three weeks as part of a fully staffed maintenance team Complete additional projects and responsibilities assigned by the
