Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance management across manufacturing and facility environments, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance teams, and coordinate complex projects to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency. Lead, supervise, and motivate maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and preventive maintenance activities. Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems, HVAC units, electrical circuits—including high voltage and low voltage systems—and industrial machinery. Coordinate projects involving upgrades or installations of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panels, or other automation equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage), mechanical systems, and facilities management standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan facility modifications or expansions while managing project timelines and budgets. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or equipment failures before they occur. Requirements Proven management experience in maintenance or facilities management roles with supervisory responsibilities. Experience in basic plumbing, electric and general maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation controls. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Effective leadership qualities with the ability to supervise diverse teams across shifts; fluent English communication skills are required. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work (including high voltage) and mechanical systems compliance standards.
