Job Description

Summary of the Position Embodies the company mission and vision statements. Provides outstanding customer service through superior organization, scheduling and motivational techniques. Supervises, directs and motivates back shop associates to execute the corporate business plan to maximize sales and profits. Ensures compliance with established company processes and procedures are maintained at business standards. Supports the sales function by completing each job on time, without error or omission. Responsible for mechanical service sales and support of scheduling to improve service flow, including store results to plan. Key Essential Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service through superior organization and motivation in the service area. Ensures that proper vehicle inspection techniques are being followed with proper company documentation. Supervises, directs and motivates back shop associates to execute the corporate business plan to maximize sales and profits. Sell and promote all products and services to retail customers. Communicate with customers by phone or in person to evaluate needs, then provide data to allow customer to make an educated decision. Utilize problem-solving skill to correctly diagnose tire and mechanical problems. Maintains high levels of interpersonal communication with the entire staff to assure all customers requests are fulfilled. Ensures that all vehicle information and company documentation supports customers requested service. Additional duties as requested by management. Experience/Education/Other Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2 years service writing experience required Have a valid drivers' license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation. Be able to handle prolonged standing and walking; bend, stoop, kneel and lifting up to at least 50lbs. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner. Have analytical skills to interpret reports and information, and develop strategies. Have extensive verbal communication skills required for customer and associate relations. Must possess the ability to motivate and direct others to get desired company results.
