Maintenance Supervisor -
Jamestown, PA Pay:
Starting at $30-35/Hour, Depending on experience
Position Summary:
Infinity Resources is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing facility in Jamestown, PA. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, supervising maintenance personnel, and supporting continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations & Equipment Reliability:
Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate efficiently. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Assist with the installation, startup, and optimization of new or relocated equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent equipment failures. Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Leadership & Team Development:
Supervise, schedule, and assign work to maintenance technicians and support personnel. Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to support skill development and performance improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Assist with staffing, scheduling, overtime management, and resource allocation.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Develop and maintain lockout/tagout procedures for applicable equipment. Promote and enforce safe work practices throughout the maintenance department. Identify, report, and address safety concerns, incidents, and near misses.
Planning, Inventory & Documentation:
Maintain inventory levels of maintenance tools, spare parts, and supplies. Track maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history records. Develop maintenance schedules and project timelines to support operational goals. Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and compliance records.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination:
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized maintenance projects. Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams to prioritize maintenance needs. Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize production downtime.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or Lead Technician. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
