Position Overview:
Infinity Resources is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Jamestown, PA. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, leading a skilled maintenance team, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in industrial maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, developing employees, and helping keep production running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations Oversee daily maintenance activities for production equipment, facilities, and utilities. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving:
Mechanical systems Electrical systems Pneumatic systems Hydraulic systems Plumbing HVAC equipment Coordinate the installation, startup, and optimization of new equipment. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Leadership & Team Development Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians. Promote accountability, teamwork, and a strong safety culture. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource planning. Mentor employees and support ongoing skills development. Continuous Improvement Improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes. Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Documentation & Inventory Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history. Manage inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Maintain lockout/tagout procedures and other safety programs. Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support environmental and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance. Leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems.
Working knowledge of:
Pneumatic systems Hydraulic systems Plumbing HVAC systems Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or Senior Maintenance Technician. Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or other regulated environment. Technical certification, vocational training, apprenticeship, or trade school education. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Experience managing preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
Employment Requirements:
Due to the nature of the products manufactured, candidates must be able to: Pass a pre-employment drug screening. Participate in a random drug testing program. Successfully complete a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check.
