Maintenance Supervisor Industry:

Full-Time Overview We are representing a growing food manufacturing company seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations while ensuring equipment reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and continuous improvement across the facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coaching technicians, improving equipment uptime, and supporting safe, efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team Assign daily work and coordinate maintenance priorities Plan and manage preventive maintenance programs Troubleshoot and support production equipment and plant utilities Maintain facility systems including: HVAC Refrigeration Steam Compressed air Building systems Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency Manage maintenance parts inventory and requisition necessary supplies Evaluate repair versus replacement decisions for plant equipment Partner closely with production to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with GMPs and applicable regulatory requirements Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset What They Need 5-10 years of progressive maintenance experience within food manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities Experience with preventive maintenance systems Knowledge of industrial utilities including HVAC, refrigeration, steam, and compressed air Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain hands-on while leading a maintenance team What They Actually Need They're looking for a working maintenance leader—not someone who manages exclusively from an office. The ideal candidate enjoys spending time on the plant floor, mentoring technicians, solving equipment problems, driving preventive maintenance, and partnering with production to maximize uptime and operational performance.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
