Job Description
Drive Success. Lead a Winning Team. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to increase shop productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the service department Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians Ensure exceptional customer service from vehicle check-in through delivery Schedule workflow to maximize technician efficiency and shop productivity Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, gross profit, labor hours, and customer satisfaction Review and approve repair orders, estimates, and warranty claims Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing an automotive service department Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures Proven leadership and team-building skills Experience with shop management and estimating software (Mitchell a required) Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record What We Offer Nice new clean shop Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) with company match Monthly safety lunches A supportive team environment with state-of-the-art equipment
