Overnight Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

Yoder's Country Markets is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Supervisor, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Manage the daily operations of the Maintenance Department. Responsible for meeting established company goals for the Maintenance Department. Ensures a safe, efficient and positive work environment Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance and/or cleaning, including, but not limited to floor tiles, ceiling tiles, walls, doors, windows, equipment, plumbing and electrical fixtures (both interior and exterior).
• Responsible For overseeing the cleanliness or the entire building, including, but not Limited to the Sales Floor in the Supermarket, the Dining Areas in the Restaurant/Banquet Halls, the Hallways and All Public Areas, as well as the Employee Lunchroom, Upstairs Office, and all Bathrooms.
• Responsible for sidewalk maintenance (front of the entire building). Sidewalk sweeper should be utilized, as well as salting the sidewalk during hazardous weather conditions (which may include pre-treating the walks before increment weather to ensure the safety of our employees and customers).
• Responsible for making minor electrical and plumbing repairs. If the repairs cannot be made, please report the issue to the Director of Store Operations.
• Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues.
• Preparing weekly maintenance schedules for cleaning and repairs and allocating work
• Supervising and training cleaning staff and maintenance technicians
• Evaluate department condition and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement; reinforce strengths while developing and implementing improved practices and procedures.
• Ensure that the entire building is secure at the close of business each day (Are all the doors Locked?)
• Ensure adherence to wage and hour policies and regulations and maintain a comprehensive work schedule for the employees in the department.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate must be dependable and maintain a positive attitude.
