Maintenance Director Skilled Healthcare Center Palmyra, PA 17078 Full-time Full-time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of the facility's physical plant and grounds. This role ensures the building, equipment, and environment are maintained in a safe, clean, and compliant condition in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Life Safety Code requirements. Maintain building systems and perform or coordinate repairs including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program for equipment and facility infrastructure. Supervise maintenance staff, assign work orders, and train new employees. Maintain the facility grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and overall property appearance. Support infection control and environmental safety practices throughout the facility. Manage maintenance supplies and equipment according to facility policy. Qualifications Supervisory experience in maintenance or plant operations preferred, ideally in healthcare or long-term care. Knowledge of general building systems and repair. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
