Maintenance Manager We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager at our Indianapolis DC facility.

Role Overview and Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring all facility equipment and systems are maintained and operational to support safety, productivity, and minimal downtime. This role leads maintenance operations within a highly automated distribution center, overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and facility infrastructure to support continuous operations The position will l ead, train, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians; manage scheduling for multi-shift coverage . This role will develop and oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs . Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues. Ensure performance of automated systems including conveyors and sortation equipment. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for managing maintenance work orders through CMMS. Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records. Overseeing facility systems including HVAC, fire protection, and security. Managing vendor relationships and contractor services. Ensuring OSHA compliance and enforcing safety standards. Driving continuous improvement and reduce downtime and cost. Equipment & Systems Responsibilities Maintain automated material handling systems including conveyors, sortation, and PLC systems Support troubleshooting of control systems and automation equipment Maintain HVAC, fire, and building systems Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance schedules Manage spare parts inventory using Kanban Support lift equipment maintenance (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in automated distribution, warehousing, or 3PL environments strongly preferred Experience with systems such as Dematic, Hytrol, Intelligrated, or similar automation platforms required Technical Expertise S trong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Experience with CMMS and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints Familiarity with OSHA standards and regulatory compliance HVAC experience or certification preferred Additional Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Effective leadership and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Experience in ISO or AS9100 environments is a plus Regular Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
