Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive service, with the ability to lead a team of skilled technicians. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a well-organized workshop environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support in automotive repair and maintenance tasks. Ensure all service work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Schedule and prioritize service appointments while maintaining effective communication with customers regarding their vehicle needs. Conduct inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer experience and operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive service. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repair. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive service. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks within the workshop environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of mechanics. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with auto restoration processes is a plus.
