Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical)

Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, this role will directly supervise and lead the Electrical Maintenance team. Our Team The Darlington Dixie® plant has been in operation for nearly 85 years and is one of the largest employers in Darlington County. Owned by Georgia-Pacific, the site boasts more than 450 employees and produces plates, bowls, and other tableware products. Affectionately known as "Dixie® Cup" by many in Darlington - the plant shifted its focus to exclusively making plates and bowls in 2020 as part of a major facility upgrade and expansion project. • Lead Darlington's Electrical Maintenance Team comprised of day and rotating-shift workers, who are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical / electronic systems and equipment in high volume manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate maintenance execution efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
• Facilitate team development and growth, individual skill development, problem-solving and issue resolution, and workplace culture by building employee commitment, ownership, and accountability.
• Ensure Electrical Safe Work Practice compliance.
• Perform Safety walks in the areas to improve employee engagement and maintenance performance.
• Monitor the quality of craft work and provide directions to crew members to build capability and maximize efficiency.
• Track departmental KPI's and report on team performance.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (SAP) to schedule work.
• Work closely with Operations Leaders, Technical Team, Electrical Planner, and Facilities / Utilities Engineer to ensure safe working environments, address issues, execute maintenance services, and improve the reliability and efficiency of assets. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years' electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings, including at least 2 years supervising maintenance technicians.
• Hands-on experience with single- and three-phase systems up to 480 V; electrical controls, PLCs, AC/DC motor controllers and drives.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred), MS Word/Excel.
• Experience in leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
