Full-time Full-time Maintenance Director Skilled Nursing Facility Location:

Confidential A reputable Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including Life Safety and Environment of Care standards) Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems Manage preventative maintenance programs and work order systems Prepare for and participate in state surveys and inspections Supervise maintenance staff and outside vendors Maintain facility grounds and overall building appearance Monitor department budget and control expenses Ensure emergency preparedness systems are operational

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred Knowledge of Life Safety Code and regulatory requirements Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems Leadership and team management experience Ability to respond to emergencies as needed CFC certification preferred
