About the Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment across commercial properties to ensure safe, efficient, and professional operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with general building maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Conduct repairs involving drywall, painting, flooring, doors, locks, windows, and other building components. Monitor and maintain building safety systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of tools and supplies. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects as needed. Assist with facility improvements, equipment installations, and renovation projects. Ensure a clean, safe, and professional appearance of the facility at all times. Qualifications 2+ years of commercial facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred. HVAC certification desired but not required. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance schedules. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. HVAC certification, electrical certification, or other trade certifications are a plus. Preferred Skills Preventive maintenance experience in commercial buildings. Basic understanding of building automation systems (BAS). Experience using maintenance management software or work order systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
