PM Pay:
Weekly, direct deposit. ACME Precision Diesel is looking for a working Shop Foreman to lead daily operations at our Greer, SC location. This is a salaried leadership role where you run the shop, own the customer relationship, and still turn wrenches when the work calls for it. You report directly to the VP of Operations. Compensation $80,000•$110,000 annually depending on experience, certifications, and leadership background Company provided service vehicle for mobile calls, customer runs, and parts pickups Phone allowance $1,500 referral bonus for techs you bring in who stay 90 days What You Will Run Daily shop workflow including job scheduling, dispatching, and prioritization across 2-3 technicians Service order creation, estimates, and invoicing through Fullbay Primary customer communication from intake through delivery, including explaining repairs clearly and building trust with fleet customers and owner-operators Technician development through hands-on mentoring, quality checks, and performance coaching Parts coordination with vendors and suppliers to keep jobs moving Utilization tracking and reporting to ensure the shop stays productive and profitable Shop organization, safety standards, and overall operational accountability You are the face of APD to our customers and the day-to-day leader for the team in the shop. What You Will Wrench On Roughly 40% of your time will be on tools, focused on the work that requires senior-level skill. Advanced engine diagnostics including aftertreatment and emissions systems Electrical and electronic troubleshooting Clutch, transmission, and driveline repairs Air and hydraulic brake diagnostics and repairs Leading troubleshooting on difficult repeat issues that your team cannot solve Mobile repair calls as needed You are not here to turn every wrench. 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years 7 paid holidays Voluntary short term disability Company service vehicle Phone allowance Diagnostic tools, laptops, and equipment provided by the shop Requirements Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with medium and heavy duty diesel trucks Demonstrated shop management or foreman experience leading a small team Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical work simply and build confidence in recommended repairs Experience writing service orders, estimates, and managing workflow in a shop environment Proven ability in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs Electrical and aftertreatment troubleshooting experience Valid driver license and current DOT medical card Clean MVR and solid work history Must supply your own hand tools Professional demeanor and leadership mindset Preferred (Not Required) Fullbay experience ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications (T series) OEM or dealer-level training CDL A or B A/C certification Any certifications demonstrating advanced diagnostic and leadership capability These will factor into your starting salary.
