Job Description
Automotive Service Lane Manager A growing automotive dealership is looking for an experienced Service Lane Manager to join its service operation. This position will play an important role in keeping the service drive running efficiently while supporting advisors, addressing customer concerns, and helping the department reach its performance goals. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows the dealership service environment and is comfortable balancing customer needs, employee development, and day-to-day operational demands. Position Responsibilities Oversee the daily activity and workflow of the service lane Provide direction, coaching, and support to Service Advisors Assist with advisor performance and accountability Work with customers to address concerns and resolve issues professionally Help ensure repair orders and service processes are handled accurately and efficiently Monitor customer satisfaction and retention opportunities Partner with service management to improve department processes and results Help maintain a productive, organized, and professional work environment Support the team during periods of high customer volume Assist with other operational needs as they arise Ideal Background The right candidate will have a strong understanding of dealership service operations and the ability to lead from the front.
Candidates should have:
