Job Description

Job Overview Seeking a hands-on Fixed Production Equipment Maintenance Manager who is a strong core value fit and brings a broad range of technical abilities. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maximizing uptime of our fixed stone production equipment while also supporting basic facility maintenance needs. The role will focus on keeping manufacturing equipment running, supporting maintenance personnel, and managing / prioritizing work orders. The ideal candidate will help drive decisions around repairs, parts, vendors, and equipment purchases.

Maintains or advises on facility maintenance best practices. Diagnoses, repairs, and resolves issues on stone equipment such as: Wire Saws, 12 ft Blade Saws, Polishers, Dimensional Saws, Hydraulic Splitters, and other equipment. Leads and manages department personnel — assigns tasks and projects, and completes top-priority work orders with strong throughput. Oversees the Preventative Maintenance Program and ensures completion of pre-shift inspections by operators. Develops internally focused, value-engineered solutions for maintenance-related costs and issues. Maintains routine service schedules on all equipment. Assists with the research, sourcing, and advisement on parts. Maintains parts inventory and performs cost-effective part ordering with the team. Manages and completes work orders. Completes special projects and capital installations when needed. Troubleshoots electrical problems. Qualifications Well-rounded maintenance skills including electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical repair, welding/fabrication, bearings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, belts, conveyors, lubrication systems, and preventative maintenance. Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability with fixed production, industrial, manufacturing, or stone processing equipment. Strong management & leadership background Proactive maintenance mindset with the ability to identify issues before they become bigger downtime problems. Data driven focus Capable of lifting 75 lbs. Flexibility for occasional travel to address high-priority maintenance needs on a short-term basis. Equipment operating experience is a plus. Knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, or other compliance regulations is a plus.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
