Job Description

Ober Gatlinburg is now hiring a full-time Facilities Manager. Facilities Manager is to manage all Maintenance Operations performed at the properties inside the Mountain Mall, Tramway Mall, and Housing Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hire and train all Mall Maintenance and Facilities Services Personnel Manage Mall Maintenance Personnel and Facilities Services Personnel Determine what repairs or services are needed at each property Perform basic maintenance repairs when an outside contractor is not required Prepare specifications, solicit, and evaluate bids for contracted services as needed Ensure that all preventive maintenance is being completed Negotiate pricing for needed contractor repairs, present to the Tram Superintendent or CEO for approval Oversee all contractor repairs Establish, maintain, and enforce operating policies and procedures Maintain, monitor, and adhere to the record-keeping system ADP timecard approvals Make Mall Maintenance schedule as well as Facilities Services Manager's schedule Request and write POs for Mall Maintenance, Housing, and Facilities Services Any other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Prior maintenance experience required Electrical experience required EPA Certification preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Experience required in project management and property management Knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical manuals Boiler experience a plus Excellent leadership skills and being a team player Ability to lift and move 70lbs
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
