Job Description

Ober Gatlinburg is now hiring a full-time Facilities Supervisor. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems to ensure operational efficiency. Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a safety-first environment. Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures following safety regulations such as OSHA standards and industry best practices. Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC units, and plumbing systems. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues early and develop project management plans for repairs or upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting safety audits, maintaining proper documentation, and training team members on safety protocols. Collaborate with management on facilities management projects to improve system reliability and reduce operational costs. Any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance management. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading facilities or maintenance teams with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and electrical systems Strong understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards Project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee large-scale maintenance projects effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. Ability to lift 70lbs.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
