$20.00 per hour

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Basic computer skills, including spreadsheet and data entry experience, preferred. Trade school coursework or certifications in maintenance, facilities management, or related fields are a plus. Experience Requirements Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial, or general repair work preferred. Experience with basic plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, wall repair, carpentry, and grounds maintenance. Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of preventive maintenance and facility upkeep procedures. Experience operating scissor lifts, pressure washers, utility vehicles, and other maintenance equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a school or campus environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds or more. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching throughout the workday. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Job Duties Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings, facilities, and campus grounds. Perform routine repairs including painting, wall repair, basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry tasks. Maintain outdoor areas through landscaping, groundskeeping, and seasonal cleanup activities. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, pressure washers, and utility vehicles to support maintenance projects. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and assist with facility inspections. Maintain accurate records and perform basic spreadsheet and data entry tasks as needed. Support event setup, campus improvements, and general building operations. Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
