Job Description

Job Overview Midas is seeking Service Manager's at several of our Memphis locations. Service Manager's will lead our automotive service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive the overall success of the service team. Your leadership will foster a positive environment where technicians thrive, customers are delighted, and the dealership's reputation for quality automotive care is strengthened. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering top-tier service experiences. Duties Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to ensure high performance and professional growth Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Ensure all service work meets quality standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional vehicle needs such as auto estimating, service writing, and recommending maintenance plans to customers Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and manage parts inventory effectively Foster excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience from vehicle drop-off to pickup Collaborate with sales teams to support automobile sales through effective service solutions and vehicle readiness assessments Experience Proven experience in dealership auto service management or automotive repair shop leadership Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Strong background in auto estimating and service writing processes Demonstrated ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and customer trust Previous mechanic or technician experience preferred to understand technical challenges and support staff effectively Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships Familiarity with dealership operations including cash handling procedures and automotive sales support
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
