Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager for thier industrial manufacturing center in the Millington TN area. This is a smaller manufacturing plant. The manager will provide overall direction & guidance to 5 Techs engaged in maintaining plant equipment, machinery, building facilities in a safe and cost effective manner. The Manager will set & perform Preventative Maintenance Schedules but also must respond to & analyze machine problems while prioritizing daily tasks to minimize plant downtime & maximize plant productivity. Interested Candidates should contact Lee Douglas @ 610 617-1447 or email a current resume to LDouglas@judge.com This job will have the following responsibilities: Analyzes severity of maintenance problems and prioritize daily emergencies, to minimize plant down time as well as maximize plant productivity. Assigns and instructs subordinates to respective and desired repairs. Sets preventative maintenance schedules and monitors all repairs for quality, method of repair and cost effectiveness. Performs basic plant and field engineering for equipment design, fabrication and installation. Inspects repairs for structural soundness, possible methods to improve operations and cost effectiveness. Furnishes for present use and future reference blueprints, sketches and drawings having correct data and dimensions for plant modifications, new installations and current applications. Locates and purchases necessary materials for maintenance repairs. Knows budgetary figures for electrical and mechanical projects, and adheres to projected costs. Track purchases from initiation stage, through delivery/storage, into use or installation and payment approval. Generates and tracks paperwork for all electrical and mechanical items purchased and maintains filing system containing equipment history and documentation of all purchased items. Ensures a safe working environment for plant maintenance employees, contractors and visitors to the plant site. Schedules equipment and facility shutdown with production department.
