Job Description
Precision Flooring Products is a growing manufacturer of premium prefinished stair parts and flooring accessories serving customers across the United States. As part of the ROX Group, we continue to invest in our people, equipment, and manufacturing capabilities to support our next phase of growth. We are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations. Your Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the plant's preventive maintenance program while ensuring proper follow-up and documentation of all maintenance activities. As a key member of the operations team, you will play an important role in improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting Precision's continued growth. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure proper follow-up and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall plant performance.
- Support equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications
- Technical training or experience in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and initiatives. Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive annual salary between $60 000 - $ 80 000 based on experience and qualifications.
