Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency. Duties Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. Manage and train service technicians in various automotive services, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote automotive services and products. Conduct auto estimating for repairs and maintenance, providing accurate quotes to customers. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships with clients. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies necessary for service operations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, diesel engine repair, and alignment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Proficient in sales techniques related to automotive services. Ability to transmit technical information clearly to both staff and customers. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
