Job Overview The Lead Maintenance position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. This role involves overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Lead Maintenance professional will utilize their technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, implement preventive measures, and maintain high standards of facility management. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations to ensure efficient workflow. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Manage repair and maintenance tasks involving electrical systems, including high voltage applications. Utilize logic controllers and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Implement project management strategies for maintenance projects to ensure timely completion. Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management. Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Collaborate with other departments to support facility needs and improvements. Skills Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices. Proficient in managing teams and supervising maintenance personnel. Experience with electrical systems, including high voltage operations. Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to read schematics effectively. Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on logical reasoning in troubleshooting.
