Job Description We are looking for a passionate individual to lead our maintenance team. Someone who is well aware of the opportunities and challenges in leading an 5• hospitality operation. Someone who is not happy with the status quo, but strives to bring continuous improvements. We own every property we manage. Because of this, we take exceptional pride in our properties and expect our team to approach maintenance with the same level of ownership and care. Some keywords for the right candidate ... Preventative Maintenance. Route Optimization. Remote Monitoring. Budget Management. Energy Conservation Our primary objective is to maintain our 5• rating with our customers. We proactively identify issues before they become problems AND fix them in-house whenever possible rather than relying on outside vendors. We have developed our own set of systems and processes that you will need to understand and adopt. In addition to these day-to-day operational responsibilities, we expect you to bring new initiatives to keep us on the cutting edge - initiatives supported by sound reasoning and data. A well thought out plan/initiative will be strongly supported by the management team. You will be working with a highly motivated team that believes that the overall success of the organization rests not with an individual but in the team that supports each other. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations across cabins and tiny homes Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in-house whenever possible Manage repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance programs Lead, train, and supervise maintenance staff Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize guest disruption Manage inventory, ordering, procurement, and vendor relationships Track and report weekly/monthly maintenance metrics Utilize software tools and maintenance platforms effectively Strategic Responsibilities Constantly identify areas for operational improvement Establish metrics to monitor overall performance of tech's and the department Participate/provide update in weekly Executive Operations Meeting Optimizing budget
Qualifications :
Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role including managing budgets for the department. Ability to bring creative solution to tough maintenance problems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
College Degree Preferred Schedule :
Monday-Friday Evening and weekend availability as needed
